Amberol supporting Britain in Bloom

Amberol customers come from across the UK, Europe and even the world. As a measure of our thanks and support we like to give a little back when we can, so we often sponsor categories at some of the regional award ceremonies across the country.

From the Beautiful Scotland campaign through to the most southerly groups in South West in Bloom, we are often in awe of the dedication and hard work of the In Bloomers that we come across.

Most recently, we were delighted to support our local organisation, East Midlands in Bloom (EMiB) at their awards ceremony by sponsoring the City and Large City categories. With Amberol’s headquarters based in Derbyshire, we see the results of the In Bloomers’ efforts all around us every day.

The event also saw the award of the John Williamson memorial trophy for the Business Improvement District award, a new category introduced this year. The son of one of Amberol’s founders, John was a director at Amberol for many years and was passionate in his support of the competition and the impact that it had on Britain. We were delighted to be able to make such an important award in his memory.

So now we eagerly await the national finals which take place in Sunderland on 16th October. We wish everyone the very best of luck!
