Britain in Bloom 2024 UK Finalists announced…
A well-deserved congratulations to the 52 community gardening groups who have secured a place in the 2024 Britain in Bloom UK Finals.
The RHS Britain in Bloom is the UK’s largest community gardening competition, where each of the 17 Bloom Regions and Nations, who run individual Bloom competitions, nominate the highest-performing entries to compete in the UK Finals.
Britain in Bloom judges will visit each of the finalists this summer and the winners of each category will be announced at their awards ceremony in autumn. This year, the groups will be judged again against the criteria that has the environment, community engagement and horticulture at its core.

Altrincham in Bloom are returning to the UK Finals this year as part of the ‘Large Town’ category. They are creating a welcoming environment and growing opportunities for asylum seekers who are new to the area, drawing on fresh perspectives and community spirit.
While inaugural winners in 1964, Bath in Bloom are now celebrating their 60th year of gardening with Britain in Bloom. Representing the ‘Small City’ category, they champion horticultural excellence and sustainability, growing all their plants in-house ensuring quality and variety.
