Autumn is always a highlight of the Amberol calendar, and this year has been no exception. Over the past few weeks, the Amberol team has been on the road supporting a busy programme of community events and celebrations.
September saw us attending the Northumbria in Bloom Awards, East Midlands in Bloom Awards, Anglia in Bloom Awards and Yorkshire in Bloom Awards, meeting many of the volunteers, councillors and community groups whose efforts help their communities flourish.

With the season still in full swing, October will see us attending the Cumbria Association of Local Councils AGM, FutureScape in Farnborough, Wales in Bloom Awards, Heart of England in Bloom Awards, South West in Bloom Awards and the RHS North West in Bloom Regional Awards.
Each event is an opportunity to celebrate the hard work, creativity and community spirit that continue to make towns, villages and cities across the UK greener, brighter and more welcoming places to be.
Visitors to the Amberol stand (L20) at FutureScape 2026 will be able to explore a wide range of planting, screening and street furniture solutions, including the Promenade Planters, Beehive Planter, Barrel Planter, Barrier Baskets, Up-the-Pole Baskets with Cup-and-Saucer Hanging Baskets, and the Stone Trough Planter.
Our popular Amberwall will also be on display, showcasing how vertical planting can transform urban spaces.
Around the exhibition, you'll spot three of our Planter Enhancement Parklets dotted around the café area, helping to create welcoming spaces for visitors to relax and connect. Also featured will be a Picnic Table, Backed Bench, Amberol rocks, Planterware, and Half Barrel Planter.
Visitors can also see two configurations of our Amberveil, including a planter-only display and a seating and screening arrangement complete with an ivy screen.
Whether you're looking for self-watering planters, green screening solutions or durable street furniture, FutureScape is a great opportunity to see some of Amberol's most popular products in person and discuss your next project with the team.
Whether exhibiting at regional awards, sponsoring categories, presenting prizes or simply catching up with familiar faces, one thing has stood out everywhere we've been: communities remain incredibly passionate about creating greener, more welcoming places for people to live, work and visit.

Many groups are already planning their next projects, exploring funding opportunities and looking at new ways to enhance their community spaces. It has been encouraging to see ongoing enthusiasm for planting schemes that deliver long-lasting impact while remaining practical to maintain.

As another successful In Bloom season unfolds, we'd like to thank all the organisers, volunteers and participants who continue to inspire us with their creativity, commitment and community spirit.
The excitement is also building for the announcement of the Britain in Bloom 2026 winners on 20 October, which will shine a spotlight on some of the country's most inspiring community projects.
We wish the very best of luck to all the finalists and look forward to celebrating their achievements as the awards season continues.
Amberol has supported Britain in Bloom groups for over 30 years, and our products remain popular in preparation for the competitions due to their quality, weather-resistant material and self-watering feature.
