Introducing the new Amberol case study competition

Introducing the new Amberol case study competition

Do you have a community story to share? Submit your case study to web@amberol.co.uk before 30 September 2026 for the chance to win £300 towards a self-watering planter of your choice.

At Amberol, we’re always inspired by the incredible work carried out by community gardening groups, local councils, and volunteers across the UK.

From colourful high street displays to welcoming railway entrances, Amberol planters help bring planting schemes to life while supporting sustainable, low-maintenance floral displays.

That’s why we’re pleased to introduce the Amberol case study competition - a new annual competition designed to celebrate the projects, people and places making a real difference in their communities.

Share your Amberol story

Whether you’re creating a wellbeing garden, supporting an In Bloom campaign, or brightening up your local railway station, we’d love to hear from you.

We welcome entries from:

  • Community gardening groups
  • In Bloom groups
  • Local councils
  • Town and parish councils
  • Schools, charities and volunteer groups
  • Organisations using Amberol planters to improve public spaces

The competition is designed to help us celebrate your success stories while building a stronger collection of real-world examples showing how Amberol products are used across the country.

How to enter

To enter, we’ll ask you to submit a short case study via email about your project, along with supporting photographs where possible to web@amberol.co.uk

Your submission should answer the following questions:

  • What are your community gardening plans in 2026?
  • What Amberol planters are you using to showcase your floral displays?
  • Why did you choose Amberol planters?
For example, have you ordered from Amberol previously? Was the quality of the product important to you? Did the self-watering feature influence your decision?
  • What is your feedback on the self-watering feature on the planters?
Has it helped you save water, time and/or money?
  • How often do you water the Amberol planters?
Have you changed anything to help conserve water?
  • What types of flowers, plants, shrubs or trees are you planting in the different planters?
  • What do you think of the quality and durability of the Amberol planters?
  • Tell us a bit about your community or In Bloom group.
How long has it been running? How many members or volunteers are involved? Do you plan ahead and change the planters regularly?
  • How did you hear about Amberol?
  • Do you have any images or additional comments you’d like to share?

The more detail you can provide, the stronger your case study will be. We’d particularly love to see photographs of your planters in place, seasonal displays, volunteers in action, before-and-after images and any examples of how your project has benefited the local community.
